  iCapital was awarded the AED 270 million Wareed project for the Ministry of Heath in UAE to implement the Cerner Millennium Heath Information System linking 14 hospitals and 68
  clinics. The project aims to create and maintain medical records for patients across the UAE. The nationwide project involves:

  Implementing a comprehensive Health Information system for all federal hospitals and clinics.

  Supplying and deploying a complete IT infrastructure for all hospitals run by the Ministry of Health including network, desktop machines, production servers, security systems, and a complete Microsoft application infrastructure.

  Development of a project portal to serve Hospital and Clinic users in UAE’s northern Emirates.

  Managing the operation of the project’s IT environment for 5 years.

  Electronic Justice (eJustice) System

  Ministry of Justice, UAE

  The eJustice system developed by iCapital was officially launched alongside the opening of
  the Sharjah court. The first of its kind in the region, the system fully automates the case management process including all legal proceedings according the UAE law. The system was developed as a joint effort between iCapital and the Ministry’s legal consultants. Currently applied in three main courts (Sharjah, Ajman, and Om Al Quain) and with plans for implementation across the Northern Emirates, the system covers all legal proceedings from arbitration to the Supreme court.

  The eJustice system has been complemented with an application developed by iCapital to manage the automation of the treasury processes (Amanat) in the Ministry of Justice
  treasury department.

  Health Authority, Abu Dhabi, UAE

  iCapital assisted in implementing the Cerner Millennium Health Information System for six hospitals in Abu Dhabi supervised by the Health Authority of Abu Dhabi. The system aims at creating and maintaining health records for patients across the hospitals.

  Department of Finance, Abu Dhabi, UAE

  iCapital and the Department of Finance launched the public portal of the Department. The portal provides information on the role of the Department to the public in addition to electronic services to the public and Department employees. In conjunction, a portal for the Abu Dhabi Customs was developed by iCapital to inform the public on the services of the Customs Department for importers and exporters.

  iCapital implemented the Trademarks registration and publishing system for the Ministry of Economy. The web based system enables the registration, modification and publishing of trademarks in UAE by the Ministry’s employees in addition providing extensive reports on the operational statistics.

  iCapital implemented a Property Management System for Burooj Properties, a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank. The system automated daily tasks across the leasing, maintenance and financial departments of Burooj Properties.

  Abu Dhabi Judiciary Department, Abu Dhabi, UAE

  iCapital developed the Treasury (Amanat) system for the Abu Dhabi Judiciary Department (ADJD). The system covers all financial transactions related to the treasury section in the Department in addition to interactions between the treasury sections and other sections within ADJD. The system offers comprehensive financial reports on the status of legal cases and associated monetary transactions. The system also integrates with a case management system developed by ADJD.

  Purchasing Department, Abu Dhabi, UAE

  iCapital developed an electronic tendering (eTendering) system for the Purchasing Department in Abu Dhabi. The system covers the tendering cycle starting with purchase requests from different Abu Dhabi departments, to awarding and delivery of purchases. Processes automated by the system include receiving offers, evaluation, awarding, purchase orders and delivery. The system also offers functionality for registering and managing suppliers in addition to implementing the UNSPSC standard classification of materials to standardize classifications across the entities services by the system (Local government departments, the Purchasing department and Suppliers).

  Client:

  Department of Social Services and Commercial Buildings

  iCapital developed the ejarat.ae portal to provide search functionality and online services for tenants in properties managed by the Department of Social Services and Commercial Buildings. The department managed approximately 75% of the properties in Abu Dhabi and the ejarat.ae portal aided management through offering multiple services for the public and property owners. The services included:

  Search for housing in Abu Dhabi and locating vacant properties using GIS maps.

  Viewing property information, pictures and virtual tours

  Tenant services for renewing tenancy contracts online, viewing contract details and receiving notifications.

  Property Owner services for generating occupancy reports, financial statements and issuing payment requests to the Department.
